Battlefords Early Childhood Intervention Program-BECIP

Services:

BECIP is a home-based program working with families whose child/children are developmentally delayed or at risk for delay from birth to school age. Early Intervention Program's have been located in 15 regions in Saskatchewan since 1980. Battlefords' program started in January 1982. Staff are trained in a variety of developmental techniques which assists in providing support and recommendations to families. BECIP is partially funded by the Ministry of Education, Indian Northern Affairs Canada, Battlefords United Way and grant dollars. Referrals to the program can be completed by families or other professionals. If you have any questions or concerns regarding a child's development, do not hesitate to call. BECIP is also linked with licensed child care facilities and Pre-kindergarten programs. Evening and weekend home visits are an option for families.
